Lifted Pole Fitness
FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions:
What to wear?
When attending a pole fitness class, it's essential to wear clothing that provides comfort, flexibility and allows for skin contact with the pole. Wear layers - something cozy to warm up in that is easily removable, and something underneath that exposes skin so you can grip the pole.
Bottoms: short athletic shorts, booty shorts, bikini bottoms, pole bottoms, or anything in between! The most important thing is your upper thighs need to be exposed.
Tops: A bodysuit, sports bra, bikini top, tank top, t-shirt or anything in between. Just no long sleeves.
Feet: We suggest starting barefoot, but bring socks in case you need to slide. If you have worn platform stiletto heels before or would like to gain experience dancing in platform stilettos heels, feel free to bring them.
Heels: If you are new to heels and unsure what to buy, we recommend starting with 7" heels. Boots allow for more stability, but sandals allow for more ankle mobility. Please note that vinyl topped sandals will mold to your feet and provide more stability than suede or other material topped sandals. Not sure where to buy? Some common brands are Pleasers and Hella Heels available on the Pleaser or Hella Heels websites, as well as sites such as polejunkie.com, yandy.com or tragicbeautiful.com. We have no affiliation with any of these brands. These are just our suggestions if you are unsure where to start.
Oils and lotions?
To ensure a safe and effective workout, please refrain from lotions or oils within 24 hours, or a minimum of 8 hours prior to attending class. This will help you maintain a proper grip on the pole and enhance your performance. Thank you for your understanding!
